We were originally bemused by this, too, Yongbo, but it really didn’t
take long to adapt — we all quite like the method now. Yes, we change
users all the time, too — it is annoying when you forget and have to
look for your data in someone else’s folder!!
B.t.w., just on the general theme… We have NOT had any issues at all,
on Windows (I am almost embarrassed to note! — I am NOT a MicroSoft
fan and wish we could run the NMRs from MacOS!) with TS4.2, right from the
outset, but because of a lot of crucial work going on here and because of
the comments on this forum, I haven’t quite had the courage yet to
update to TS4.3 — hoping to this very week, though. Anyway, again,
no problems for us!! We updgraded our Desktop processing stations, all MacOS,
to TS4.3 immediately and, again, that works just flawlessly (and soooo much
faster for most things).

It's a CENTOS 7 system coming together with the instrument from Bruker. I
updated linux before doing the topspin installations.
