AMMRL;
Many suggestions to check the other things like the Attenuator board 1st instead of focusing only on the AMT amps. I checked the output of channel one on the ATTEN board with an oscilloscope while adjusting the tpwr and saw the levels were nonlinear as well. The issue goes away with the installation of another ATTEN board. I'm glad we save parts from our old consoles.
Special Thanks to Jin, Bert, Joseph, Jon, Garreth, Richard, Andrew and Ryan. AMMRL is awesome!
Warmest regards,

Subject: AMMRL: Non-linear amplifier?
AMMRL;
We are using an AMT proton amplifier on an Varian inova500 and we are getting these very long pw90s at the lower powers. It seems to me that this amplifier is non-linear. Is this a symptom of a bad amplifier stage?
