Control of remote DOTY VT controller from TOPSPIN

All,

We have a remote DOTY VT controller that we are attempting to control from the spectrometer PC (Windows 7) through a CPM port - either through a batch file or out of a Topspin AU program. Lets just say we have worked ourselves into a dead-end corner.

Has anyone successfully done this and would be willing to share ?
