We have 500MHz Oxford magnet with Unity Inova Varian console, and Dual Broadband probe. We have a faculty who wants to do variable temperature at - 40 degree C. I was able to bring the probe temperature down to - 16 degree C using Air-Jet Crystal Cooler and FTS Systems. But it couldn't go down to - 40 degree C. I would assume we have to use Liquid Nitrogen and nitrogen gas to cool the probe? We have liquid nitrogen dewar and heat exchange transfer line. Do you have step by step procedure on how to set up this variable temperature? Thank you.
