I'm pretty sure there is some kind of memory leak in ICON. It's doubtful
it will be fixed since they are transitioning to Spinpilot because they are
having difficulty with the ancient ICON code. We Logout of Alma and restart
Topspin/ICON each morning when possible. This very much cuts down on this
issue. There is not real fix. And later version of Topspin still has these
issues.

Hi,
Our NEO-500 and NEO-400 run mainly in automation mode with ICON interface.
It fails at random at different stages of data collection – either ATM,
shim, lock or proc.
Sometimes, it ejects the sample and proceeds to next sample, but most of
the time the interface locks up and needs a restart of ICON or a reboot of TS.
This is very inconvenient for overnight queued samples.
We are running TS 4.3.1 on the 500 and 4.5 on the 400.
Is there a permanent fix either in configuration of ICON or TS itself?
