Good morning Weixing,

We routinely used Wilmad 528s and often Norrell 502-7s at 800 MHz with no
problems. The "caveat" is that we didn't spin anything and especially not
biomolecules - with modern shim systems and 3D shimming you should get good
spectra non-spinning. The marketing for the higher rated tubes is that they
have better concentricity and camber (frankly I think they just make tubes
to the higher specs and downgrade ones to whatever spec they do meet during
QC). Anyway, more perfect tubes are supposed to minimize artifacts when
spinning which get exacerbated at higher field.

I would avoid anything too cheap, and of course make sure the tubes you use
are straight and fit well in the spinner.
