Dear AMMRL,

We currently have three 30 cubic meter bags that are well past the end of
their expected lifetime. These are rectangular and roughly 12 feet high by
12 feet wide by 6 feet deep and stand on end such that the helium is drawn
from the bottom of their narrow side. They always have a bulge at the top
even when mostly empty. We have high ceilings (26.5 feet) and there is a
lot of unused space. I am interested if there are any other facilities that
have hung bags from the ceiling or built a platform to get them off the floor?
If so, was this a good idea or does it cause other problems? Any pictures
would be of interest. Also, is it a purely aesthetical desire of mine to
have a non-symmetrical bag lie such that its shortest dimension is its height
and will thus be drawn down closer to being flat than our current arrangement will?

Thanks,

John
