Dear friends,
We have a Nano probe for our 500 Inova. I found that the narrow mouth
tubes can be tightly sealed and works well, but the widemouth sample
tube loses solvent very rapidly once it is rotating at 2KHz. The reason
is that the sample plug for the widemouth tube is too loose. Those
widemouth tube was supposedly to designed for large samples which is
hard to get into the standard narrow mouth tubes.
Varian does not have any way to solve the problem right now, and I am
thinking return those widemouth tubes to exchange for the narrow ones.
But before I do that, I want to see if anyone who uses Varian's Nano
probe is successful in using the widemouth tube for any application
without losing too much liquid.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
Regards
