We are looking to grow our team with a full-time NMR scientist position in
the Pines Center's core facility at UC Berkeley. The Pines Center will
expand in 2026 by hiring a new faculty director to include biomolecular
solid- and solution-state NMR for structural biology and biophysics of
proteins and biological assemblies in addition to our existing research
portfolio in materials and small molecule chemistry. Accordingly, we are
looking for a candidate with expertise in:
- biomolecular solid-state and/or solution NMR for structural biology of
proteins and/or biological assemblies,
*or*
- solid-state NMR for materials characterization (e.g. organic
frameworks, zeolites, and polymers).
