Thanks to all that replied.
It turns out that not long after I sent the message I decided to try a lower
numbered TTY port. I had been trying 7-9 and went down to 4. That did it.
Ran CF again and entered the port and now the uxnmr.info reflects the
setting/info. Commands working again.
