Hi all,

I didn't see this problem when I was setting up deployment of 4.5.0 on
university W11 machines back in October 2025, but now I'm seeing the same
issues with Chrome and Edge, and Firefox fixing everything. This seems to
be a problem with the current version of WebDepot v23.03.554.500.ws4. As
far as a I can tell, the specific version of TopSpin is irrelevant (tested
both 4.5.0 and 5.0.0) - it's whatever's on Wibu's servers that seem to be
the issue.

Mike do you know if this has been submitted as a proper ticket internally?
Do we have a timeline for this getting fixed? I don't see how not supporting
75% of the installed browser market is winning strategy...

Thanks Mike! It worked immediately with Firefox.

We had been using Edge, and I tried the link you mentioned for Direct License
Transfer, but that failed with error 0x18088007 - "The connection to the
CodeMeter Runtime on your computer could not be established".

With Firefox there was no need to try the Direct License Transfer.

There are two factors here. Make sure to use firefox--it's the only browser
I've gotten to work successfully. And for some reason the licensecentral
webpage has been coming up in offline activation. If you've got a link in
the lower right that says direct license transfer, click that and it should
do the automatic activation.

Chrome), but my computer died before I could give it a shot. They said they
were having issues with Chrome.

A student said they had success doing the offline activation.

Good afternoon all,

We encounter an occasional issue installing TopSpin on Windows 11 computers.
We can input a license key, but the webpage is not automatically selecting
a CmContainer and there is "No CmContainer found".

I've tried reinstalling CodeMeter from the TopSpin installer and also directly
from Wibu <https://www.wibu.com/support/user/user-software.html*CodeMeter_User_Download>
to no avail. There is a Bruker_BBIO_WMLV container at http://localhost:22352/container.html
but it has no licenses.

This one has me stumped - I'd be grateful for any suggestions!
