Dear AMMRL,
We occasionally see a "BirdRack flush" error when experiments are queued in
TopSpin. When it occurs, TopSpin fails to start the next experiment, displays
the error message below, and won’t do anything else until we dismiss the error:

For instance, this happened earlier today with an experiment scheduled to start
around 2 AM. After dismissing the error dialog, the experiment ‘failed’. I
could then start it manually with zg, and it ran without any issues. Despite
the error message, I didn’t have to do anything with the HPPR.
I’m not sure whether queuing is a necessary condition for the failure, but
our users report the error only seems to happen on queued experiments.
The system is an Avance III running TopSpin 3.6.3 on Windows 10. The experiments
were custom pulse sequences for MAS that we’ve run many times before. We’re
planning to upgrade to Windows 11 and the latest TopSpin version in July.
If anyone has run into this before or has suggestions, I'd really appreciate
hearing from you.
