Dear magnetic resonance enthusiasts,
We are excited to announce that the registration for the Global NMR Online
Conference 2024 is open
https://www.globalnmr.org/registration until July 5th.
We invite students, postdocs, and researchers to present their work. Access
is completely free and open to everyone! Participants are invited to upload
a short (2-minute) video or a poster to present their work. Innovative formats
and high quality work will be recognized with prizes. Creative, easy to
understand presentations in the form of short videos are highly encouraged.
Titles and abstracts of registered participants will be made available on our website
(
https://www.globalnmr.org ) and organized into subtopics, along with links to
the X (Twitter) threads. Audience members and presenters will also be able to
find posts related to the Online Conference via the hashtag #GlobalnmrOC2024.
How will this work?
1. Register on our website by July 5th. All are welcome to register, however
only undergraduates, graduates, and postdoc registrants will be eligible
for prizes.
2.
At the start of the conference, tweet your presentation with a title and the
hashtag #GlobalnmrOC2024.
3.
Discuss and engage during the three-day conference (July 17-19th, 2024) by
commenting and responding to comments, and by retweeting presentations.
4. Win prizes awarded to the top presenters !
How should I make a 2-minute video ?
There are many good ways to make a short video! For examples of presentations
from last year, we invite you to search X (Twitter) for the hashtag #GlobalnmrTC2023.
A straightforward way to make a simple video presentation is to use Zoom (or
another screen recording application) to record yourself talking through a
short 2-minute presentation.
1. Start a Zoom meeting with just yourself.
2.
Open your presentation (Powerpoint slide, poster, other format). Share your
screen, and start recording the Zoom meeting.
3.
Talk through your presentation. When you are done, stop recording (or just
end the meeting).
4.
View the saved recording and make sure you are happy with the presentation.
5. Post the recording on X(Twitter) on July 17th or send it to us
globalnmr.onlineconf_at_gmail.com <mailto:globalnmr.twitterconference_at_gmail.com>
so we can share it through our X account!
