Hi

Following my problem with my FCU board here is the suggestion i
received and the result i obtained:

"Have you tried to do a complete shutdown of the console and the computer
workstation? A complete restart and subsequent "cf" will sort things out."

--> still having the problem after a reboot of all systems

"It sounds like an FCU problem, have you tried to swap FCU 1 and 2?
FCU 2 is normally used for wobb. If wobb works after swapping 1 and 2,
it most likely means a replacement board is needed"

--> I swap the channel and tried zg: error message "RCU1 didn't react
on exit command after exit of TCU. Killing RCU process now."

"I just had almost the exact same errors/problems. I am fairly sure
It is something in your TCU board. I upgraded my TCU board, and it
passed the diagnosis tests but the FCU failed. Then we tried to
replace the FCU board. Same errors. We finally got a second TCU
board and put the old FCU back in and we were fine. SO - check your
TCU board. That was what ended up being our problem."

--> like i already said, the RCU seems also to having problem. This is
consistent with a source problem at the TCU so all subsequent system
go wrong (RCU and FCU). I don't have replacement FCU so i couldn't
verify that.

"Something, just removing and reinstalling the same board fix the
problem (like in old nintendo). Some dust can prevent good contact and
reinstalling the board make the contact better."

--> Surprise! by removing and reinstalling the TCU board, it works!
Everything is now working fine: zg as well as wobb.

Conclusion: Before buying a new board, just try to verify that all
contact are correct by removing and reinstalling that board.

Thank you very much for all your advices
