Dear Justin,
we use also these kind of Young-tubes on our 800, 600 and 400 MHz NMRs.
often we are using the beige ones, ... these are out of PEEK. These spinners
are much more stable at different temperatures - like the ceramics one. Also
there is a manufacturer of these -

selling also a brass ring for this system.
You can put also this brass ring to the blue POM spinners or the Kel/F ones. This
makes the spinner a bit more heavy. Also it keeps the drop into the magnet a bit
more save, because there is the eddy current brake effect. Especially at the 800
and 600 it is a good choice to get a smoother drop into the probe.
But it makes the system a bit more heavy - so you have to adjust a harder lifting
stream for this purpose.
