Hi Jordan,
I suspect that "NmrSuperUsers" actually corresponds to the "nmrsu" group—=
that's the group all the files are owned by. The manual and hotline staff don't
seem to have much Unix expertise; my guess is that most folks up in Billerica
are working primarily on Windows. I'll try that instead of NmrSuperUsers and
see how that goes.
As for why this matters: I was instructed to run expinstall whenever changing
a probe. We have quite a few probes on that system—one being a modern DiffBB
probe, with the rest being older-style diffusion probes.
If you care to correct me on the need or lack of need of this, please do!
