I've always run IPA through the probe. Hang it upside down and squirt
the IPA through the VT tube. Note as the color should clear.
I avoid harsher solvents like chloroform and acetone. Blow nitrogen
gas through the probe after the rinse.
If the RF coil is wrapped around a glass insert you might very carefully use a
cotton swab (on a wood stick) saturated with solvent to clean the inside
of the glass.
