Hi,
as Brian correctly notes it will depend on which probe you have exactly - is
it for example an ASW/ATB or AutoX probe?
These have an internal glass tube and can in principle be cleaned with IPA-soaked
cotton swabs - not a good idea with older ID or SW probes whose RF coil is
glued to 1 mm thin glass tubes/rods.
Still you should shine a light into the top of the probe and try to take some
close-up pictures before inserting any cotton swabs - not impossible that the
broken sample tube broke the insert tube which you may be able to spot like
this. In which case the probe will need a repair unfortunately (fingers
crossed it doesn't!).
