HI Andre,
in addition to the points below you should also check what is configured in
the file Sysconf.incl. There will be a line in there that says #define D fx x= 1 or 4.
Could you please do rpar topshim1d2h or gradshim1d2h then open edasp and check
"show RF routing".
Then please send me the screen shot.

You might be able to find some useful information if you open up a new parameter
set and read in the topshim1d2h parameter set and look at the routing
it uses. That might give you a clue what's not set up properly. You could look
in the topshim log files in <topspinhome>/prog/curdir/<username>/topshim.log and
see if there's anything suspicious there. You could try acquiring a gradient
profile using the parameter set gradshim1d2h (process the result with fmc instead
of ft) and see if you see a broad hump.

I have been (with the support of Bruker) trying to install a 2htx-board
on an three-channel AVI with centos5 and Topspin 2.1.
The cable seems to be correct, however he was complaining that the 2htx
is routed to the 300W amplifier. I have corrected that via the bsms and
routet it to output 4.
Now there are no complaints, I can also do a 3DShim and 1DShim on a
sucrose sample. However, as soon as I want to start topshim on any
deuterated solvent, he aborts with the error "Raw check - no signal at all".
I can measure deuterium, the lock works, so I am pretty sure, it is not
the deuterium per se which does not give a signal.
Anyone any thoughts on this? Bruker seems to be at their wits end on
this either...
