Thanks Bob--I know that we definitely do not have a city water backup. I wasn't
even aware that this was a possibility, and should check on this immediately.
Thus far, the issue has always occurred during a power switch, and I think
the point you make in 3 (b) is likely where we went wrong--so I should look
into that as well.
