Several of us just went through this same thing. You can probably find some
threads on here about it too.
I switched two Varian NMRs systems from CentOS to Alma linux since that is
what Bruker is using now. We did move to OpenVnmrJ as well for these systems.
We have had a few minor issues but overall the systems work just fine with
OpenVnmrJ and are stable. We also have individual user logins to track usage.
OpenVnmrJ is pretty easy to install as well in case you were wondering? We
saved off everything we needed from the old computer and then just put it
back on the new system. Other than a new look the users do not see a
difference in how everything operates.
