I know there are some threads about this, but I just couldn't find any current
info. I'm particularly interested in any industrial labs who may have
something like this going and how you staff it. Please feel free to
directly email me if you have any suggestions or watch outs as we look into this.
For those of you with newer helium recovery systems -
1 - What is amount of time does it require for day to day maintenance on the
newer systems?
2 - Can it be monitored/accessed for trouble shooting remotely for night/weekend
issues?
3 - Do you have multiple people who do this or is the learning curve too steep
for just one?
We haven't looked into He recovery for a few years and when we did, the older
systems seemed to be fairly labor intensive to keep running smoothly. Our
group wants to know how much overhead to anticipate with the newer systems and
add that into our calculations for staffing.
