Hi Tracy
If you are talking about issues with mixture of solvents that have more
than one 2H NMR resonance, at least the Topspin 3.X onwards (i.e.
instruments that are AVance-III or newer) has an elegant way to deal with
it via the 'edlock' interface. I am of course assuming that your DMSO is
actually DMSO-d6. You can create a new solvent entry in the table and
indicate the actual resonance positions (4.7 ppm for D2O, etc.) and then
specify which resonance peak that will be used for Locking.
That's my 2c and I am sure wiser heads are going to weigh in with better
answers as I write this !
Best Regards
Rajan
