Dear Karel,

There is an entry for ‘Check sample diameter with matrix code’
for each of the OpenShop and the Sample Racks - it is located in the Basic Service —> User Settings page.
You can set one or both to ‘do not check’, although this will
require that you insist on a single diameter tube, since the system will not
recognize when it needs to change shuttles. We have the ‘Open Shop’ set to
‘do not check’ and the racks set to check, to give our users the flexibility
to use 3mm or 1.7mm tubes in the inner racks, but not in the outer rack.
