vnmr_accounting tool woes

Colleagues:
    I am trying to use the vnmr_accounting tool. However, I am getting
this error message:

Error in startup script: sort: can't open /vnmr/adm/tmp/Nmr.report.tmp:
No such
file or directory
   while executing
"exec sh -c $ACC_BIN_DIR/view_acctng"
   (file "./acc_vnmr" line 61)

These files do exist. I am using VNMR 6.1C. Solaris 7, on ultra-SPARCs
