Dear All,

Thank you all for your help on this. It turns out I'd forgotten to allow
the tftp through the firewall. Now I have the IPSO talking to the computer.
I do have another issue that some of you may have run into and that's a
BSMS heartbeat error that doesn't seem to want to clear no matter how many
times its power cycled. The ELCB firmware is up to date the only firmware
I couldn't update was the VTU as it hangs at 1% which has now caused the
cryoprobe to warm up.

Did anyone else come across these fun and games?

Stu

Dear All,

I've been banging my head against a wall trying to get ALMA 9 installed and
Topspin working but still have not managed to get the IPSO to see the computer.
I made sure that the tftp socket is active, although I have noticed that
this switches off after ~15 mins, and the DHCP service is running. I
rebooted the IPSO but get the CO code, even power cycled the IPSO. There
is nothing wrong with the console because I can move it back to the old
computer running CentOS 5 and everything works. I have now run out of
things to check. I'm sure its something silly like the name of the ethernet
connection but I don't see why that would be an issue.

Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received.

Stu
