Dear Alvaro
the only Bruker NMR spectrometer that periodically contacts a server outside
is the Avance Core series. All other spectrometers do not need an outside
connection.
License activation can be done online and off-line. The offline activation
involves a sneaker net connection to a computer with outside access. You
move a file to a connected computer and later move a file back to the
spectrometer
This is described in the CodeMeter manual that is part of Topspin.
