Hi Sameer,I'll be interested to see if anybody's got a good solution for this.I have a couple of possible solutions but they're kind of crude. If you want to limit thepulse power for a specific nucleus, if it's not one of the nuclei that's included in the PICSfile then you can just set it to whatever you want in edprobe. If you did want to edit one ofthe nuclei in the PICS file for that specific probe then eitherI or one of my colleagues could probablygenerate a custom PICS file for you that would have the power limit you wanted and you could load thatfile to the probe and that would be the permanent power limit for that probe (until you decided youwanted to change back and loaded the original file backon.)There are probably some other more klugey ways to do this--you might be able to change the maximumpower set in the cortab file for that nucleus accordingly. Or you could put an attenuator betweenthe SGU and amplifier that would decrease the maximum size of the signal that goes from the SGU to theamp and thereby limit the maximum power you'll get out of that channel.Anyway, I'll be interested to see if somebody's got a more elegant solution to this.Cheers,Mike
