Dear Justin,

We have water-cooled compressors and I don't have experience with
air-cooled ones, so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt. I'm
generally happy with ours but you do need to ensure that the water quality
is good. We do that by using Haskris chillers in between our processed
chilled water and our helium compressors. Additionally, if your building's
chilled water needs to go down for maintenance/construction (we're in the
middle of it right now), then you'll lose your ability to run the
cryoprobes.
