The removal of the sort by date feature is one of the reasons I recommend
users the 3.7 version for processing. It is not only the missing sort by date
that us annoying, it seems sometimes I have to actively sync the data directory
for new datasets to show up. And the display data browser in separate window,
that I use with dual monitor display to maximize the spectrum display, is also
buggy. Often the data browser opens up with the structure display of the window
maximized, and the directory browser hidden. And while initially the spectrum
display utilizes the full Topspin window, after a while the display reduces in
size leaving the space where the data browser would be blank, with no way to
re-maximize the spectrum display.
I hope Bruker will make some improvements on that interface.

Hi all,
I've noticed a quality of life change between Topspin3.6.5 and Topspin4.4.0
and am hoping someone knows the secret sauce. Version 3.6.5 has a "sort by
date" feature for the spectra directory, accessible via right-click. Our new
NEO console came with version 4.4.0 and near as I can tell that function was
replaced by Filters options. While I appreciate the expanded criteria, for
sorting files by recency at least I much prefer the previous tool. Is the
older functionality toggleable from the settings? It really was one of
my favorites!
