I am using MNova 15.0.0, and this feature still exists. I have used
templates as Donovon suggested, but all multiplpet labels will still re-appear
at some point when I make an assignment on a 2D-spectrum that automatically
defines the 2D-peak as a "multiplet"... suddenly all multiplet labels are
visible again. Donovon's work arounds are very creative, but I find
it easier to just open the properties and un-check the multiplet labels box.
I have simply learned to live with it and go through each spectrum, turning
multiplet labels off manually before generating a structure report for my chemists.
Another issue that was not addressed in MNova verison 15 is a rather random=
occurrence when the font-size of my parameter listings will arbitrarily increase
(like 12 pt). With some specific clicking in the parameter text box and
green re-sizing icons it will often revert back to my default (small) font, but
sometimes I have to manually reset the font size. I can save a .mnova
file with all parameter listings in my desired font size, and then I will re-open
the same file and some of the text boxes will just randomly reset the font size
to large. This is another quirk that have just been living with, but
I take the blame because I actually never officially reported this to Mestre
(apologies to Mestre). For me the Mestrenova software is so useful
for NMR processing that I don't really mind living with a few oddities, but
that's just me.
