Hi Beth,
I have not printed any housing/inserts for spinners. It sounds feasible,
but my only concern about printing it would be some wear on the spinners over
time if you use hard plastics (PLA, ABS, PETG etc), especially if the spinners
are frequently cycled from the case. Perhaps you can print it with a
flexible material like TPU? SLA printers now support a lot of flexible
materials too.
Btw, we just store the spinners in the original foam outside of the boxes.
It has held up surprisingly well over the past 4yrs.
