Hi,
I may have missed it from your post - do the error messages only sound as
if the unit freezes up internally (possibly leading to overpressure inside) -
could you confirm whether the airflow through the BCU stays the same during
cooldown?
If not (unit clogs/freezes up) you may have a source of moisture finding
its way into the cooler. Are you operating with pure nitrogen gas or with
compressed air? If the latter it’s worthwhile checking the performance
of the air drier (which should have a dewpoint of at least -80 deg C)…
In case (let’s hope not) your BCU turns out defective I may have a used
but working FTS-80 air chiller which is a similar but independent unit which has
its own control unit (outlet temperature can be set between +60…-80 deg C).
