In which floor is it?
Shift Orbitrap if possible, as it needs cooling and it can warm that lab
space – bench, air compressor gets heated quickly ----

Hi Heike,
Thanks for starting this great discussion!
I have been fighting a battle with safety in the department as well. I am not
a fan of lab coats, but have the issue that there is also a direct infusion
Orbitrap and MALDI MS in the same room as the NMR. Does anyone have advice
on how to handle this combination?
Thanks,
Dr. Jessica M. Roberts, Ph.D.

Gary,
I like the "shirt sleeve" requirement. Not sure I could enforce this here with
the students but that seems like a good way to take care of the lab coat issues...
Thanks for the info!
