Colleagues:
Recently a problem with our SampleXpress Lite has appeared. During
an automated sequence the run will terminate with the following error
message:
Sample Changer Fatal Error: Error: Error: STOP_CHANGER 99 117.310.064:Unknown error
I have observed the following behavior when the error occurs:
a) The samplechanger flashes red for a brief moment;
b) The sample is ejected momentarily, then inserted back into the probe (the light is purple at this point);
c) The automation software then issues the error, and the samplechanger light turns green.
The error occurs randomly and does not affect manual operation (i.e. the sx ej and sx # commands work fine). Has anyone encountered this problem? Any advice would be appreciated.
