Deconvolution software summary

Many Bruker users recommended XEDPLOT (it is available for our old
version of XWIN-NMR).
Among free PC programs MestRe-C seems to be the most popular. JEOL's
Delta and dmfit were recommended as well.
Two commercial NMR-processing programs: NUTS from AcornNMR ("Full 1D"
version - not "Lite") and ACD/NMR Processor are reported to be very good
tools for performing deconvolution.
ORIGIN from OriginLab Corporation was mentioned by two users. It is not
a NMR package but a very powerful statistical software. I think I used
it myself for analysis of microcalorimetry data.
Some people also used "solver" module in Microsoft Excel.

Thank you Charlie, Chip, Glenn, Ivan, Kurt, Martine, Molero, Patrick,
Rich, Roger, Ron, Scott, Tim, Todd, Virginia, and Walt.

Best regards,

Piotr

Hello everybody,

One of our users needs a tool for performing deconvolution on his 31P
spectra. He uses ARX 400 (XWIN-NMR 1.3) for obtaining data but he is not
satisfied with performance of Bruker's "dcon" program. I think he would
prefer to use some PC program.
I don't have any experience with these programs. I hope I can get some
advice/recommendations from you.

Best regards,

Piotr
