Hi everyone,

Thanks for all the suggestions on ladders. Here is the one we bought:

Attached is a picture of the ladder standing next to our unshielded 500 MHz
magnet on its own. Using the magnetometer app on my phone (I'm planning to
replace this phone soon), the magnetic field at that spot is 40.5 gauss.

Hello everyone,

I found out last week that the ladder in my NMR lab is magnetic. I've been
trying to find a reasonably priced nonmagnetic ladder but haven't found anything.
So far, I tried an MRI supply store, but they charge $250 just for shipping.
Then I found out Louisville Ladder offered MRI safe ladders, but they have
since been discontinued.

Which ladder are you using around your nonshielded magnets? I'm looking for
something around 6 foot.
