Hi Everyone,
Hoping for some advice on how to handle billing on a new hybrid instrument
(mixed ICON and Topspin).
This particular instrument will operate on a scheduled/reservation system
(scheduling handled with FACES) and mostly using ICON - mostly. But some
users will operate in 'manual mode' directly with topspin.
When using ICON, billing in easy. But when using topspin, they won't really
be logging in because the system will already be logged in. I understand
most scripts depend on the user logging in and based it on time logged in.
Do you any of you have systems that operate on this hybrid model, and do you
have a suggestion for how to handle billing? Previously all reservations
went through us, but the department wants a more open access scheduling
instrument.
