Hi Casey,
Those DB 9 connectors have always been problematic. I've found the best solution,
(given that you use the same interconnect) is to use a high a quality connector
( they are not all created equal), with a lot of back support,
because the thermocouple wires are very stiff and brittle. Those are the two main
issues; poor contacts in the connector housing, and breaking the wires off with
too much flexing, which happens with frequent probe changes.

the wheel. Has anyone developed a replacement connect for the Varian VT serial
connector? I'm running both a VNMRS and a INOVA consoles and looking for a
more reliable connection for the VT sensor.
