Alex,
Not sure whether your spectrometer is running under Windows or Linux, but if
you made some recent updates/changes in configuration, but Topspin 3.x is
32bit, so when running on a 64bit operating system one needs to explicitly
install certain 32bit libraries for Topspin to work.
For example, when switching to sssd for network users, one also needs to install
the 32bit client libraries, or Topspin will not start (error message is different
than yours, thought).

This is from Alex Blumenfeld, University of Idaho, with Bruker Avance III 500 MHz,
TopSpin 3.2.
We lost access to the TopSpin environment. Each time we click on the TopSpin icon,
the following error message shows up:
Premature Java virtual machine termination. The program is exiting...
Hit Enter to continue
Obviously, hitting Enter just closes this window.
Our IT specialist checked all memory allocations and did not find any overfills.
Any advise will be appreciated!
