Hello Vernon,
I know that some vendors sell 100g and 250g bottles of CDCl3 with a=
silver strip already in the bottle. So if you really want to go that
route, you could buy the bottles which already contain the silver.
But I suggest that if you are really worried about the stability of your
chloroform, why not buy your CDCl3 in ampoules?
