I have 5 spectrometers and 5 workstations working fine with Alma Linux 8.9
and OVJ 3.1.
As Yannick mentioned, you will need the old conpar, probes folder,
gshimlib, shims, tune, and perhaps others. I think I would probably just
copy (preserving attributes) the old /home directory, change the name of
/home/openvnmrj_3.1_A to /home/ovj-old and create the link /vnmr ->
/home/ovj-old, and then install OVJ. The installation script should copy
all necessary files to /home/openvnmrj_3.1_A and you will have a backup
copy of your old installation in case you need it.
