We are looking for a gradient coil for setting up a Marine MRI facility
on Pivers Island, NC, and are in dire need of a gradient coil that would
fit a 33 cm 4.7T Oxford magnets MKI model. The facility is a consortium
between UNC, NCSU, and NOAA, and is funded by a small state granting
agency, North Carolina Biotechnology Center, and due to limited funds,
a refurbished console was purchased. We have a 40 cm outer diameter
Accustar gradient that came with the existing system, and could pay a
small reward. The gradients will be driven by three Techron gradient
power supplies. The ideal gradients would be 20 cm inner diameter
and actively sheilded, BUT any diameter would work better than no
gradients at all, which is the present situation.
