Hello Folks

Thanks to the fact that I misplaced the uname/passphrase combination
for accessing the archives, here I am to ask with folded hands to bear
with me if this is a repetition, the following question :

How many of you are spending the $$ or EE or YY

   * to buy commercial third party NMR processing software (i.e. other
than Bruker, Varian, etc.), specifically the site license for an entire
department or even the whole institution
   * and maintain a dedicated software distribution server to distribute
the same to the defined user base. Do you get IT assistance from a
relevant department or group for this or are you expected to play
'Gandalf the wizard' and just give them what they ask ?

I will be much obliged for your input on this. Obviously I am trying
to weigh in on this possibility back in my den here and that is the
motive behind the question. I have never been diligent in summarizing
responses in the past :-( , but I will use this post to become a changed
person :-/ (hopefully !).
Thanks very much for your time as always.

Regards

Rajan
