Hi,
using Matrox cards (G450, G550) it is possible to
run XWIN-NMR and 24 bit True Colour application
simulatneously using Linux as operating system.
Unfortunately until now I found no possibility
to run XWIN-NMR and Sybyl simultaneously. There are
some rather complicated solutions (i.e. running two
separate X servers) but maybe there is a better
solution.
I heared, that nVidia quadro graphics cards should
be able to use hardware visual overlays like the
above mentioned Matrox cards. I would like to check
this out, but I would be happy to learn from your experience
concerning this hardware. A sample XF86Config would be
nice.
