Hello Jeff,
I suspect that the capacitor in your 1H tuning channel is shot. Because
this is a helium cryoprobe, you are somewhat limited in your options.
I fear that the probe will have to be sent away on an extended holiday.
In the meantime, you will have to suffer through using a traditional
room temperature probe (unless you happen to have a spare cryoprobe).
800MHz isn't exactly common, but you might be able to borrow (or rent) a
TCI cryoprobe from someone while you wait for your 19-year old probe to
be repaired.
There may be some third party options you can consider if you are unable
to send your probe back to Bruker for repair. Where are you located?
