Hi all,
I am reading through old threads and trying to see if I can figure out what's
going on with our update to Windows 11 and Topspin 3.2 for an AVII system (2006).
We were previously running ok on Windows 7 with Topspin 3.1 but are being forced
to upgrade the hardware/OS. (My pleas of "don't mess with things that are working"
went unheeded.) The old computer did not have RS232 connection and it seems like
we were able to achieve everything through ethernet for 15 years, so I haven't
pursued RS232 to USB adapter. I haven't ventured down the VM route yet although
that solution seems to work for many.
I have installed the OpenText NT toolkit and Topspin 3.2. I have flexlm running.
I have restored the previous spectrometer configuration with nmr_save/ nmr_restore.
I am able to ping 149.236.99.89 without issue.
cf connects to the DRU and then hangs/errors at iiconf: connect to CCU.
"connection to spect (aqport0) failed unable to connect to remote hose
(Unknown error) ('startd' demon active on CCU ?)"
Any guidance would be appreciated. (Help me Sameer, you're my only hope, etc) :)
This is my oldest console but I have four more to go after this, unless I walk
into the sea first.
