Hi everybody,
We have an open position for an NMR staff scientist in the Department of
Chemistry and Biochemistry at UCLA. This is a full-time, permanent
position. The successful candidate will jointly manage the Magnetic
Resonance Facility, which is part of the Molecular Instrumentation
Center, along with one other NMR staff member (me). In particular, we're
looking for someone with expertise in solid-state NMR. Expertise in
Linux/system management would be a definite plus.
The facility has seven solution-state NMRs (with one more on the way),
one solid-state NMR, and one EPR, as well as a helium recycling system.
