NMR Applications Instructor
JEOL USA has an immediate opening for an NMR applications instructor. The
position will be responsible for pre- and post-sales customer support,
customer training, running customer samples, and conducting demonstrations
of NMR equipment. The position also involves writing user
documentation and conducting training workshops. The position will
involve travel approximately 2 weeks per month. Foreign travel is required.
The position requires a minimum M.S. in Chemistry or Physics, or equivalent,
with 1-3 years' experience in using or teaching high-resolution
solution-state NMR. The ideal candidate will have experience as an
NMR facility manager, supervisor or instructor. Previous knowledge of
NMR system software, hardware, and theory is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills are essential.
JEOL USA , Inc. is a manufacturer of scientific equipment, including
nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometers. electron resonance spectrometers,
mass spectrometers, and electron microscopes.
