Yes you can stop a quench!! By monitoring the helium boil off one can
determine if there is a problem and one can bring the magnet down in a gentle
manner. Or you can wait until it goes down by itself.
Ten Things You Can do after your Magnet Quenches :-(
1. Clean all the filters
2. Clean off the hard drive
3. Go fishing
4. Cry in your bear
